Frozen Lakes

Frozen Lakes is the new pop project from ex-Darling Waste singer/songwriter Lance Waste.
“When Darling Waste ended after 15 years and 8 albums, I was determined to be finished with music for good.” Says Waste, who recently relocated with his family from his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio to Myrtle Beach South Carolina. “And for a while I was done. But then I started writing little songs in my head without even noticing. They would stay for days and just fully form in my subconscious. Then I started dreaming about them. I would wake up with finished songs in my head.”
Waste began writing them down and recording them as a way to get them out of his head. He soon realized he was being drawn to finish them. He soon began spending his days in a familiar place, his home studio.
Frozen Lakes is a solo project with Waste providing all of the writing, performing along with the production aspects and mixing/mastering. For now, that's how he intends to keep it. “I spent 15 years straight in an almost non stop cycle of writing, recording, releasing, touring and promoting albums. For this project I just want to take it slow and do what feels right.”
