Raised on a diet of global pop music, Fruit Punch debuted his own synth-heavy songs in the living room of a Michigan mansion in 2018. A fine artist outside of making music, he finds inspiration in pop music's more visual periods like British New Wave and contemporary K-pop. These influences have appeared in his high-energy stage act as coordinated outfits, tube televisions, and exercise bicycles. In a grade school gymnasium in September 2019, he released his debut album, Knock Out, a confessional yet dancey LP covering heavy themes like environmentalism and gay desire, as well as lighter ones like the struggle to buy jeans. Currently he's working on a new, yet untitled EP to be released in October. Fruit Punch resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan and writes his songs on a Korg Minilogue.
