“fruitsbaskets” is an American solo artist with a focus on challenging himself with the MIDI creation process and learning how to become a better artist overall.

His initial works consisted of “At a Glance (Instrumental)”, which is a shorter version of a song he made for a music class in school, showcasing the dynamic ambience of a simple melody over 3 sections. The second work was a full album compiling demos he created from April 2024 - October 2024, as April is when he started to make music digitally. After that came his first fully professional work. The “Baskets” EP, consisting of 5 tracks all trying something new: with the sharp and powerful “Intro/Pull”, the complex and catchy “Slip Through”, the atmospheric and solemn “Stalk (Slow Down)”, and the groovy and simplistic “Don’t Wait”, the EP was a cult success, with “Slip Through” and “Don’t Wait” both amassing over 2,500 streams.

In March 2025, “fruitsbaskets” continues to be creating new music, with the 20-track project “A Familiar Place”, combing simple loops with complex immersion, and the newest EP “Josephine”, releasing March 12th, showing a more solemn soundscape compared to prior releases.
