FRÝS is a psychedelic-inspired rock band from Reykjavík, blending classic influences like Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, and Led Zeppelin. Originally formed as Arrowkeys in 2022, they rebranded as FRÝS in 2024, launching a bold new chapter in their sound.

Haukur Lár Hauksson – Lead Guitar
Björn Máni Björnsson – Keyboards
Rafael Róbert Símonarson – Drums
Brynjar Karl Birgisson – Bass
Daníel Sveinn Jörundarson – Vocals
FRÝS made their debut at a local Verzló competition, later earning the “People’s Choice” award at Músíktilraunir 2024, winning over both fans and critics.
Now joined by new lead vocalist Sólveig Torfadóttir, the band is preparing to release their first full-length album, ushering in a fresh era of creativity, energy, and ambition.
