Fufu Banana

Fufu Banana is a psychedelic acid pop band composed of seven players/misfits, with influences ranging from Indie Rock & Soul, to Hip-Hop, Funk, Garage and Classic Rock.
Fufu’s music is based on groove and retro-futuristic psychedelia and may cause involuntary reflexes in the lower limbs, otherwise known as “dancing maneuvers”.

Fufu Banana was formed in the spring of 2018 by Ori Kastiel who composed the music and joined forces with lead singer Timmy Tene and producer Gal Oved. Together they refined what might be described as "songs" and assembled the majestic keyboard player Yuval Onhoz, acidic drummer Or Alperin, metamorphic trumpet player Eyal "Monnie" Arav and the peculiar turn of events/percussionist Itay Ben-Yosef.
Ever since, the inglorious group started an ongoing voyage between dimensions in order to spread their word.

Fufu Banana draw inspiration from a wide range of bands and musicians far better than them:
From Mgmt. Gorillaz and Crumb, to David Bowie, The Doors, QOTSA, Kutiman and The Smiths.
