Funkatalyst - the Manila based beat-maker/producer and DJ is an artist that peaks curiosity.
He started stitching songs together at the young age of 15, growing a love of making music and started producing his own original music. One of the founding members of the heavyweight artist collective Bawal Clan in the Philippines. He specializes in drum machines and live remixes, with belief that audio versatility is most essential. The taste in selection is maintained zeitgeist, while the mixing, maintained on a zenith. Coming from a strong foundation that started from his obsession with Hip-hop music at a young age, Funkatalyst lives up to his vision of giving way to progress and innovation.

Led projects such as The Philippine Star's "The Filipino Now" music video, MTV's New Music Fridays Bar Tour, and has done supporting sound for A$AP Ferg in Manila.
Funkatalyst frequently plays at Black Market and Xylo in South East Asia to name a few including yearly presence in Fete De La Musique Philippines. He has also played alongside Ryan Hemsworth, DJ Dynamix, Supremefist, Urbandub, Kjwan, and many other artists in various branches of sound.

The self taught music enthusiast has a massive range of genres, from both golden and new age Hip-hop & RnB, House, Jazz, and to his favorite 808 heavy specialties. Ready for any festival or party, his main style is hybrid having the best of both worlds, old and new, altogether avant-garde.
