Funkin’ Donuts: the perfect mix between sugar and Funk, frosting and Rock, obesity and deafness!

Funkin’ Donuts is a Funk Italian band based in Rome and formed in 2012. The sound is a multi-colored mix of Funk music where the origins of the genre (James Brown, Stevie Wonder) are combined with more recent rock and crossover evolutions (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine). The first years of life are dense with shows all around Rome and its countryside and lead the band to release its first self-produced album “In Case of Emergency” at the end of 2015. The related supporting tour reaches several locations of the city (50 dates in one year) and takes the band up to Spain where the Funkin’ Donuts played a small leg of the tour. The second LP of the band is in progress and it’s planned to be released at the beginning of 2018.
