FURGE | BIOGRAPHY SHORT



Furgil (Leerdam) aka “FURGE” is born and raised in South America (Suriname). As a youngster the love for music was noticed by his uncle. Listening to and singing along with reggae, soul, r&b, jazz and local suriname music would pave the way for the early steps of his career as an artist (singer/songwriter). In his teens Furge moved to The Netherlands were he developed his artistry by experimenting singing cover songs and writing original work. Being the lead vocalist of the reggae band “Intuition“ was a perfect fit to showcase his abilities which didn’t stayed unnoticed by the music industry. Several producers offered Furge to work with him which led to his first single “Control” To be able to sing and write all types of songs and genres makes Furge not only versatile but a future prospect at any day. With several releases under his belt, gigs across The Netherlands, it’s safe to say that there is more to come in 2021. Furge is an uplifting artist who considers himself a positive role model making the world a better place showcasing and inspiring the world with happy music!
