Future Theory are an alternative rock band from the expansive skies of Lincolnshire, known for their rich, atmospheric sound and vehement psychedelic leanings. Since forming in 2016, the band have steadily evolved their sonic identity — a fusion of cool, understated psychedelia, grunge, post-punk, and serious alt-rock guitar work that’s all their own.
Their journey began with the debut EP "Fool’s Dream", followed by a string of singles that hinted at their growing ambition. In 2022, they unveiled their self-produced debut album — a raw and immersive record that laid the foundation for what was to come.
Now, in 2025, Future Theory return with a sharpened sound and renewed creative energy. Their latest project — a new EP being released track by track — kicks off with the electrifying single “Reality Buzz” (out now). It’s their most direct and punchy release to date, offering a glimpse into the band’s most refined and dynamic work yet.
With a style that’s equal parts introspective and explosive, *Future Theory* continue to carve their path through the UK’s alt-rock landscape — constantly evolving, yet unmistakably themselves.
Band members:
Max Sander on Vox and rhythm guitar
Chris Moore on Lead Guitar
Rohan Parrett on drums
Jacob Brookes on Bass
Chris Moore also in @collectiveband
Max solo music @octone
& @kinruin
