Fuzön is a pioneering Pakistani band formed in 2001, known for blending classical, Sufi, folk, and contemporary pop-rock music. Founded by guitarist Shallum Asher Xavier and keyboardist Imran “Emu” Momina, the band first rose to fame with vocalist Shafqat Amanat Ali through their debut album Saagar (2002), which gave timeless hits like Aankhon Ke Saagar, Khamaj (Mora Saiyaan), and Tere Bina.
After Shafqat’s departure, Fuzön continued with new vocalists including Rameez Mukhtar and Khurram Iqbal, releasing more music such as their second album Journey. Over the years, Fuzön has gained recognition for their soulful fusion of Eastern and Western sounds, leaving a lasting mark on South Asian music and performing internationally as cultural ambassadors of Pakistan’s modern fusion music.
