“Fuzzysurf is a band suited for any era. Since formally introducing themselves to Milwaukee music fans with 2017’s great Me Wocky EP, the quartet has quickly garnered attention with their distinct sound that perfectly blends elements of ’60s-era surf pop with aspects of modern day indie rock.” (from Milwaukee Record's "25 Best Albums of 2019"). The quartet is composed of Sean Lehner (vox/guitar), Corey Murphy (organ/electric piano), Joe Ludwig (bass/vox), and Colin O'Day (drums).
Known for their upbeat catchy melodies, cynical lyrics, eclectic arrangements, and imaginative music video production, the group's breakthrough 2019 album, "Fuzzy & the Surfs" and follow up album "Sweet Tooth" found the band not only receiving regular regional radio and national college radio airplay, but also receiving a number of accolades for the albums including “Top 100 Best Albums of the Year” for 2019 and 2020 by NPR Affiliate 88Nine Radio Milwaukee.
The band's latest endeavor, the sprawling and genre blending 2025 double album, "Chameleons", showcases their very best and most rewarding work to date.
