Gab De Castro

Gabriel Angelo is a singer-songwriter based in Makati known for his acoustic driven pop songs that features elements of Folk and Soul. He has released four singles, each sounding different from one another.

He started writing songs at an early age as a way of expressing himself. Eventually, he started creating stories that would eventually become the basis of his songs as a way to not depend on his personal life for inspiration. Gab eventually started recording and producing demos of his songs which he would post on digital streaming platforms.

After becoming a student in DLS-CSB, Gab’s skill as a musician and producer continues to develop, allowing him to co-produce his single “3am” and then produce and arrange his single “Let You Know."

All the while, as he continues to write songs in taking inspiration from both his personal experience, he continues to create more with his single "Moth" where he puts tunefulness and melodies to the fore in this instantly catchy song about being drawn so strong to someone.

Recently, he turns to some good ol’ synth-flavored pop for his latest single “Alone In The Evening.” Modern-sounding, playful and with light Gen Z ruminations to boot, GDC sounds his age on this Gab Angelo-Matthew Auditor-written tune.
