A sea-change to Brisbane prompted Melbourne born producer Gabe Gleeson to pursue a new sound. The decade prior had seen him release music under the pseudonym ‘Indian Summer’ and after a shift from electronic pop to darker club rhythms, his new alias was born. Influenced by 90s Chicago house and 70s disco; Gabe Ruth effortlessly weaves saturated drums, blistering bass-lines and pristine pop production to create a unique sonic palette. In 2020 he was picked up by Medium Rare Recordings and his first release ‘Asking’ received support from the likes of Claptone, Hot Since 82, Sam Divine, RIVA STARR, Roger Sanchez, Horse Meat Disco and The Aston Shuffle. He returns in 2021 with the heroic follow up ‘Make My Night’.
