Gabriel Gonzalez, Better known as “The Legend”, started experimenting with music as a living room Karaoke singer; always chasing the flashing lights of the cameras and applause from family and friends. As a young teen in Cleveland, Gabriel found a calling in serving his community. He volunteered in homeless shelters, building relationships with those he served and asking them to share their stories with him. Gabriel continued his journey of musical growth by exploring other recording studios in the Cleveland area. In 2015, Gabriel moved to Tampa, FL where he once again found himself called to serve his community through working with individuals with disabilities. Through his work with these individuals, Gabriel wasn’t just sharing his passion for Spanish music with them, he was creating music. During his time working with children with disabilities, Gabriel has built relationships that have opened new opportunities for both him and the students. Many of the students have found Gabriel’s servant-heart a safe place to share their concerns and hopes; building a safe community for them to grow. He is using his songwriting and lyrics to reach out to those who may feel they have nowhere else to turn and he is opening a dialogue across the world through his listeners. Gabriel has found a pure and intentional way to mix his calling of servitude and his passion for music, to become the successful artist he is today.
