The piano trio is the longest-running musical project of pianist Gabriele Pezzoli, having started in the late 1990s. The trio's international recording debut came in 2006 with the release of the album "Improvviso", which was followed by a second album in 2009, "Rendez-Vous", both released by the Montreux-based label TCB. Both albums received good reviews, especially from Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands, and led the trio to regular concert activity in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Finland, Estonia, Greece and Madagascar. The third album of the trio, "Viljandi", received a nomination from the French review Citizen Jazz and led the trio to experiment with new soundscapes and interplay possibilities.
