Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and producer Gaby Moreno has made remarkable strides. since leaving her native Guatemala for Los Angeles, releasing nine albums along the way. Her accolades include a Grammy for X Mí (Vol. 1), Grammy nominations for Alegoría (Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album, 2023) and Illusion (Best Latin Pop Album, 2017), and two Latin Grammy Awards (Best New Artist, 2013; Best Traditional Tropical Album, 2023). She earned an Emmy nomination for co-writing the Parks and Recreation theme song and has shared stages worldwide with artists like Bono, Andrea Bocelli, Tracy Chapman, and Buena Vista Social Club. Moreno's versatility extends to television and film, where she voiced Marlena and performed the theme song for Disney's Elena of Avalor, contributed to Guillermo Del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities, and wrote "El Saber" for the acclaimed film Radical. Her work as a producer on Omara Portuondo's VIDA earned her another Latin Grammy in 2023. Her latest album, Dusk, released via Cosmica Artists, features a collaboration with Oscar Isaac on "Luna de Xelajú," honoring their Guatemalan roots.
