For years, Gagi has dedicated his time to building himself and his career. In 2024, that dedication is shining bright. He is the master of the soundscape, utilizing drowning vocals and aerial ad-libs to keep you immersed throughout his tracks. On top of that, the production couldn’t be a better backdrop. This shows on his album “GG,” where the volley between the hi-hats, bass and kicks on “Fall out” work with his vocals to create a sound that is somehow cinematic, aquatic and dreamy all at the same time. And this theme is all over the album, whether it’s the machine gun flow on “FYM” dancing with the synths or the surfing background accentuating his drowning vocals on “Kutta.” No matter where he pops up, Gagi is sure to steal the show with his sonics. His feet are planted, he’s here to stay, and soon he’ll be taking over everybody’s speakers.
