From Port Charlotte, FL, Gallows Down is JB Peterson/ guitar/vocals, Curtis Waldee/bass and Mike Moore/drums. Curtis and Mike had been in bands in the SouthWest FL music scene and had crossed paths with JB over the years. They all had shared a common interest in doing something together one day musically. JB had old demos he saved hoping one day to form a “Doom/Stoner” metal band. It so happened that Mike and Curtis were looking to do something in that vein and they began jamming on the demos in early 2021.
Gallows Down sprinkles in groove, doom, and rock and roll with some death metal growls to boot! They are currently writing their second EP hoping for a release in late 2023!
