Galo Gordo is one of the most beloved names in children's music in Portugal. Created by writer Inês Pupo and musician Gonçalo Pratas, the project brings together words and music in original songs that have delighted children, families, and educators for over a decade.
Endorsed by the National Reading Plan and the Gulbenkian Foundation, Galo Gordo has released several books and albums, including the acclaimed Poemas e Canções para Todo o Ano, Este Dia Vale a Pena, and O Mundo É Redondo. In 2020, the project marked its 10th anniversary with Galo Gordo – É uma Festa, a joyful blend of new songs and fan favourites.
