Gambee

Gambee is a queer non-binary latine producer and multi-instrumentalist based/native to Los Angeles. Their unique voice is defined by layers of samples, field recordings, and manipulated audio that works together to make lush soundscapes that feel & sound distinctively organic. Their songs & sounds enthrall listeners into a world of nostalgia, maximalism, indulgence, kitsch, and sincerity.

Gambee's love affair with sound blossomed while playing in bands and exploring the vast artistic communities that call Los Angeles home. Collected from playing in backyard shows in the DIY band scene, sitting in with Jazz combos, or exploring LA’s beat scene's vast soundscapes, Gambee took in the architecture of sound and people that call the city home to heart.

'Projecting Again' is Gambee's first full-length album release. The project is a personal diary for introspection, produced, engineered, and mixed by Gambee. The soundscapes are organic collages of samples & sounds that personify the large & small feels conveyed in every track.
