Egyptian artist Gamiano was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, where he spent the majority of his life before relocating to his hometown in Cairo, Egypt at age 18. Having grown up on the East Coast of America in a metropolitan area where Hip-Hop and Rap music were prevalent, Gamo developed a love for rap culture from a very young age.
Formerly known as <a href="spotify:artist:4SFjiJz35t5iFVCvUn7kZo" data-name="Pharaohgamo">Pharaohgamo</a>, Gamiano spent his early years in Cairo in a powerful alliance with Egyptian Production duo <a href="spotify:artist:5P4gYpIeDqVMdkWnIHScSM" data-name="Issa & Assouad">Issa & Assouad</a>, with whom he recorded and released his debut collab project, <a href="spotify:album:7CrfDNFzxFVU9nayrCzti7" data-name="Family Ties">Family Ties</a>. As the Rap scene rapidly grew in Egypt, Gamiano decided to branch out into making Arabic music as well as English, showcasing both sides of his culturally-torn personality.
