Garage Daze

Garage Daze has been through many musical changes since their first steps into the Iowa music scene in 2016-2017.

Throughout the years, certainly one thing never changes, and that is the roaring guitars and melancholy and emotional storytelling through their songs.

With a mix of sounds ranging from early 90’s “Grunge” movement to a more Shoegaze and Alternative sounding mix. Taking most of their influences from bands such as The Smashing Pumpkins, HUM, Nirvana, and other various noise rock and alternative bands. Garage Daze offers their listeners a different experience through every composition.

Garage Daze is still going strong and they’re still spreading their music all throughout the Midwest.


“Our next guests are Garage Daze, my friends who truly are our local, high school, garage band. They write and practice brand new music; and everyone knows that's my favorite thing. They're responsible and respectful. They book their own shows. They set up and sell their own merch. They promote with old school flyers and social media posts. They improve every time I see them play. They come out and watch other bands, pay cover, and support the scene even though they're too young to drink. They get right up front at shows local and out of town.

If I could give bands' advice who are 3x their age, it would be: watch what Garage Daze is doing and do that.”
