Gardener is the synth-psych project of Richmond, VA based Dash Lewis. Using an array of synthesizers, effects pedals, and his own voice, Lewis creates towering slabs of looping sound replete with repetitive, mantra-like melodic lines, wordless vocals, and pools of undulating sub bass. Gardener's music drifts through moments of existential wonder, emotional reckoning, and soft hope. Lewis also plays in a duo with multi-instrumentalist and producer Jeff Zeigler (The War on Drugs, Kurt Vile, Nothing).
