Gardenia is a musical project formed through imaginative and narrative processes. It was founded by Susmia
Kendedes Syaefudin and Christophorus Adi Prasetyo in 2013, and is inspired by old European music, particularly the
Medieval era, post-classical, Celtic music, and Gregorian chants. They have developed their own approach,
methodology, and musical journey based on these influences. After releasing their debut album, "Meadow of
Heaven", in 2019, Gardenia embarked on a self-titled tour which they divided into two parts, visiting cities in Central
Java such as Yogyakarta, Semarang, Surakarta, Salatiga, as well as West Java in Tangerang, Jakarta, Bekasi, Cikarang,
and Cirebon. In 2022, Gardenia officially joined Frogs Records from Yogyakarta and released two singles titled "Les
Yeux Gris" and "In Her Arms", along with official music videos.
