Gardening Soil is a Finnish alternative metal band that breaks barriers between different genres. Their distinctive sound borrows elements from funk, progressive and grunge, blending them seamlessly together into a completely unique approach to metal music.

Gardening Soil was originally formed by three young musicians from Pirkkala in 2022. Later, in 2025, the band recruited two more members and it has drastically improved their sound and energy.
The current line-up consists of Luukas Leppänen (lead vocals, guitar, composition, lyrics), Topias Surakka (guitar, backing vocals), Kaarlo Kallio (bass), Atro Heinonen (drums) and Reko Pitkänen (keyboard, percussions).
