Garotte is a Greenville, SC based band. The band blends influences of New York Death Metal, Technical Death Metal, and Deathcore seamlessly with intricate riffs, blistering solos, and thunderous breakdowns. Formed in 2014 by founding members Ellis Tolbert (Drums) and Korey Smith (Vocals), the band released their debut EP "Quietus" in 2016. Guitarists Caleb Wyatt (God Devourer) joined the fold in 2018, and Chase Crouch (ex- Your Chance To Die) is the newest member joining in 2020. The band is set to release a new EP titled "Derelict" late 2020.
