Hi, this is Garrett.
Normally this is the space where an artist's team would leave an extremely well thought out, impressive, bio full of all of his or her accolades and accomplishments but I just wanted to write y'all a letter instead because honestly it just feels more personal.
First off I want to start by saying that I could never explain to you how excited I am that you're here and I appreciate you for taking the time to dive in to the music!
A little bit about me, I was born in Bossier City, Louisiana where July is hot and August is even hotter. I grew up listening to artists that my grandfather enjoyed like Bill Withers and Sam Cooke along with my dad's favorites like Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Eagles. I found country music when I was 15 listening to Chris Stapleton but my earliest memory of music happens to be watching my mom sing in church when I was 5. All that being said, music has always been my first love and it always will be.
I moved to Nashville, Tennessee when I was 18 and started writing songs. Somehow by the grace of Jesus I signed my first publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing when I was 21 and now I can thankfully say I'm currently recording and releasing some songs that I'm extremely proud to call mine.
When you hear my music, I hope this blend of blues, soul, and country makes you feel whatever you've been looking for. We're just getting started and I'm happy you're here for the journey.
