Gary Jay is a Florida-based songwriter, lyricist, and storyteller whose music turns real-life observations, memories, humor, and hard-earned experience into songs that connect.
Working across country, Americana, R&B, funk, reggae, and dance music, Gary Jay is less concerned with fitting neatly into one genre than with finding the right sound for each story. His songs explore love, loss, family, friendship, aging, temptation, trouble, and the strange moments that make ordinary life unforgettable.
Sometimes reflective, sometimes funny, and occasionally a little dangerous, his writing favors vivid characters, honest emotion, conversational lyrics, and titles that make you want to hear the story behind them.
Every Gary Jay release begins with one goal: create a song worth remembering.
