Gary Llama got his start in music as a 14-year old kid, playing shows in the 1990s Richmond, VA punk rock scene with his bands 500$Fine (formerly Golden Llamas), and S.O.P. In the early 2000s, he began releasing solo music: acoustic punk rock, under the aliases Silence Is Suicide, then F-Box, before finally releasing under his own name.
