Award-winning producer, instrumentalist, and record label entrepreneur GaryOAKland is making waves in multiple facets of the music industry. Combining jazzy arrangements with modern production, he creates familiar but ever-intriguing grooves begging to be played on repeat.



First a jazz pianist, Gary recorded his first studio album in 2013 and developed a love of both the performance and production sides of the industry. He continued to record and perform with a rotating cast of musicians spanning from straight-ahead jazz to funk to indie rock, keeping a focused eye on the production booth. In 2017 he began producing as a solo artist, releasing full length albums <a href="spotify:album:7AdoXe60X7vOM3bRlvI3ym" data-name="Paint by Numbers">Paint by Numbers</a> in 2019 and <a href="spotify:album:1xOV5NiTZ0yRg05jYAA4oY" data-name="GaryOAKland II">GaryOAKland II</a> in 2020, along with number of singles and EPs.



In 2020 Gary founded <a href="spotify:playlist:0MvTFPmPMIj2JCFeoE83Aq" data-name="Sunset Drip Records">Sunset Drip Records</a>, releasing tracks in collaboration with <a href="spotify:artist:6RogTcrhOPLlVZaV34LCyp" data-name="Lee Brave">Lee Brave</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1pacBSmBxfwndRD8ulFjy3" data-name="WhitMo">WhitMo</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5YjFotPhzSEnq1TaukuCQM" data-name="Mark Anthony">Mark Anthony</a> and many others. In 2022 he released <a href="spotify:album:2HvvqqGiQ7igAhqNmVhrK2" data-name="GaryOAKland 3">GaryOAKland 3</a>, and in 2024 released <a href="spotify:album:3iOCZ1rs5o8jJj6pX1nENT" data-name="GOAK4">GOAK4</a>, dipping deeper into an electronic jazz sound reminiscent of <a href="spotify:artist:2FwDTncULUnmANIh7qKa5z" data-name="FKJ">FKJ</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2ev6Cd0yJVCcpf2zezEQ8Z" data-name="Anomalie">Anomalie</a>. Combining heavier house elements into his normally downtempo style, Gary strikes a combination of genres that is both unique and familiar in all the right ways.
