Gavin Thorpe is a singer-songwriter, Therapist and co-founder/Co-CEO of male mental fitness charity, Talk Club.
After being signed to Atlantic Records and Universal Publishing, Gavin has made several independent albums.
As well as songs appearing in TV and film Gavin has also been playlisted on BBC Radio 2.
One of Gavin’s career highlight was meeting the legend who founded Atlantic Records, Ahmet Ertegun. Ahmet, said to him after hearing his songs. “ You got soul kid”
Gavin feels that songwriting has been a huge part of who he is today and it has always been his therapy growing up in Bristol, UK.
Gavin trained to be a therapist whilst setting up the men's mental fitness charity TALK CLUB because he felt he wanted to help his fellow man to open up. Gavin always used music as a way of saying how he really felt but is aware that not everyone finds it easy to talk. Talk Club is a way of starting those conversations...How are you? Out of 10?
