Gears is a vintage-skewed indie funk and rock band formed in Tuscaloosa, AL by Chandler Grammer and Christian Crew, who have since moved the operation to Nashville, TN. Enlisting <a href="spotify:artist:2ye30wmL3OaII4a8AdkmVD" data-name="Kid Brother">Kid Brother</a> (Jordan Kaye) on bass guitar and <a href="spotify:artist:0Ne83InjHL4DWSIzKB6irr" data-name="August Rhodes">August Rhodes</a> (Andrew Rose) on keyboards to augment the band’s sound, Gears spent the bulk of 2023 cracking into Nashville’s live music scene and recording new tunes with the new lineup. They opened 2024 with the release of their debut LP, Atlas, and recently released their eponymous sophomore LP on November 15.
