GEE $ MON

Born and raised in San Diego, Gilbert Delgado A.K.A GEE$MON born Mexican/American descent. His name is short for Gee Money, produced on a wide range, of artist. Growing up he found himself inspired by music when he first heard the sounds of Parliament, Zapp and Roger, and many artists form the late 70's and early 80's he became influenced from everything from Reggae,Hip Hop & Rap, down to the Mariachi music his Grandparents would play everyday on the old turntable.... Growing up in the streets of San Diego brought many hardships to his years as a youth trying to make a positive in the areas not always easy for a young MAN to find his calling in. So hustling and gang banging or MUSIC was something that came natural to those exposed to the streets at such a young age. As he was trying to balance the streets and his love for making music he new there would have to be a time to make a decision to make this his career, Inspired by his own life experiences amongst those he was raised around he has been able to create some of the wide range of sound on his own albums that he grew up on listening to on his dads eight tracks hoping to make a name for the city that has put him through the most tests in life SAN DIEGO.
