As part of our ongoing exploration of the Simple Machines universe, Geek’s jangly discography has been remastered, with “Herasure” available to stream everywhere now.

Before Simple Machines, Derek Denckla and Jenny Toomey were just two kids from Bethesda, Maryland obsessed with the DC underground. The co-ed group of guitarists/vocalists Toomey/Denckla, bassist Lillian Daniel, and drummer Ivor Hansen (and later Steve Jackson) came together in 1989 and quickly became a post-Revolution Summer staple.
