Korez and Maxipad decided to combine their talents in September of 2024. They both grew up in a small town in Minnesota where everyone around them felt copy and paste. After meeting each other at a young age, they bonded over a shared love of music. Eventually deciding to make music of their own when they were experimenting with the idea in summer 2024.
“GeekedGanG” was officially started in September of 2024 when they released their first single “Newports” on soundcloud. They started off like most other artists just messing around on youtube beats. As time went on they eventually decided to actually start taking music a bit more seriously. They truly locked in when Maxi told Korez “No more youtube beats, let’s take this seriously and completely make all of our own songs.” Thats when everything changed. After Korez started producing every beat and recording their songs in his closet, they started releasing songs on all platforms for everyone to hear. With their first drop on streaming services “Ridin’ Round Town” in January of 2025, they both decided to lock in completely and actually try and pursue music careers. As of today they have released 6 singles, 1 EP, and just released their first album.
Together, they make hard hitting hiphop/trap/horror core, where they talk about the struggles of mental health issues and substance addictions/abuse. The both of them using their music as a sort of therapeutic escape from their real life problems.
