We are a group of artists, music producers, songwriters, sound engineers, promoters, and DJs.
Collectively, we have created a fresh, unique, and authentic urban sound in Tigrinya, Amharic, English, and more, across different urban genres like hip hop, afrobeat, amapiano, dancehall, reggae, soul, and R&B, infused with a touch of Eritrean and Ethiopian traditional instruments.
Our goal at Geez City is to put East African urban music on the international music market, which we call Geez Music.
We come from a part of the world that has a rich history, land, traditions, and beautiful cultures that are thousands of years old and still thriving. We are one of the few in this world that have our own alphabet letters called Ge'ez, which is a sign that a great civilization has existed in East Africa since ancient times. We are here to use music as a means to communicate love, African progress, and creativity within ourselves and with the world.
