Her musical journey began at 14 at a performing arts school, where she immersed herself in her craft and performed acoustic covers. It was there she discovered her passion for vocal arranging. By 18, she found her true calling in songwriting.
GEMMA’s journey hasn’t been easy; it has been filled with challenges that have shaped her voice. Now, she's ready to step into the limelight as an artist. Drawing inspiration from artists like Raye and Julia Michaels, GEMMA’s sound intertwines heartfelt lyrics with catchy melodies, complemented by her rich vocal harmonies. As she says, “Since we all have different sides to ourselves, I think it’s important not to limit myself to a single genre or sound. While each song may explore a different direction, they all reflect who I am. So although the songs vary, they share one common thread: they all sound like GEMMA.”
