Yorkshire based DJ/producer Dave Gray AKA General Bounce has become a prominent figure in UK clubland in recent years. Obsessed with dance music from an early age, Dave has been an active club DJ all his adult life, playing house, UK garage, trance & hard house, before settling into the hard dance scene. Regardless of genre, his style reflects his persona and the sound he is passionate about - uplifting and pumping music made for the dancefloor.
Dave's breakthrough came when he joined the Cheeky Tracks brand in 2010. Since then he's performed at the biggest hard dance events in the UK such as the Tidy Weekender, BTID, Frantic, Rejuvenation and Wigan Pier, and his music has earned support from Hannah Laing, BK, Rob Tissera and more. He mixed a compilation for Tidy Trax in 2024 ("Bouncy Bouncy vol 2"), and also became well known on Manchester's gay scene with a weekly afterhours residency there from 2014 til 2020. He continues to spend most weekends DJing for various events nationwide, and took ownership of Cheeky Tracks in 2015. Dave plays annually at Unity In The Sun in Corfu and also hosts a monthly podcast showcasing all genres he plays.
Almost 25 years since his DJ career began, Dave is showing no sign of slowing down and you can be sure he will continue to play the music he believes in.... happy, uplifting and stomping!
