General Dissairay is a five-piece independent band formed in Montreal in 2006 and made up of long time friends. For twelve tumultuous years, the band has evolved into an organized group of musicians with influences ranging from blues to metal.
The members include, Max Dissairay singer/rhythm guitar, Sebastien Tremblay on lead guitar, Jonathan Faubert on bass, Patrick Jémus on the drums and Nicolas Nardozza on the piano. In 2015 GD released their first professional demo, a 4-song cd recorded at DRX studios in Montréal by Mike DRX and Joe Wazana. With themes of political corruption, drug abuse, heart-ache and soul-crushing anger: General Dissairay’s powerful pop-punk appeal demands the attention of its listeners.
Presently, they rehearse and record at Studio Greenhouse, where they are produced, mix and mastered by Christian Poirier, the band’s mentor and great friend. General Dissairay has presence on all social media and are eager to talk to fans or any other potential contributor.
