genetic mess is a Kraków based duo helmed by Noren Czepiel (vocals, production) and Szymon Trzebelecki (guitar, production). They base their sound off electronic dance rythms and hip hop beats. Doing that, they look for a bunch of weird samples under random rocks, which Noren then puts into a microwave and gives to Szymon to play some psych saturated guitar licks over. Soundscapes created in that way, as well as the chaos of an overstimulated modern civilization inspire cartoonish lyrics that present a satirically mirrored reality. A city on another planet, where a fusion of desolation and mist whispers abound of unidentified flying objects seen at various times. The synthesizer we use to craft our songs, doubles as a prototype device for communicating with cosmic inhabitants, from whom we seek true answers in a world full of lies.
