I am a singer songwriter and am inspired by themes of freedom, expanse and escape. Though my songs tend towards the epic and cinematic, they are also intimate and I am always trying to find the beauty in the darkest parts of our psyches. I’m particularly interested in the things we all try and hide about ourselves, and why. I am as inspired by the city as I am of the landscape of the sea and the country. Music influences include Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Kate Bush, Bernard Herrman (and the classical composers that inspired him), Karen Carpenter and too many composers to mention.
