Genghis Kong emerged during the resurgence of grime with his mixtape ‘The Last Remnants’. He cut his teeth on numerous pirate radio stations such as Mode FM, Croydon FM and Empire LDN where he become known for his unique style and thought-provoking lyrics. Genghis then disappeared from the scene for unknown reasons leaving behind an underground fanbase ruing his unfulfilled potential. He now returns with a clear objective to innovate the grime sound by exploring different tempos and combining elements of dancehall whilst staying true to his roots.
