Genie is a modern disco, R&B pop duo, hailing from the excesses and the glories of a global music movement that began decades before and is primed to take over the world again. A modern day reimagining of the fun of Studio 54 mixed with the soulful heart of the 70s and 80s, Genie has arrived right on time for the retro pop renaissance.
Collaborating with LA-based Wrecking Crew legend Don Peake (Gloria Gaynor, the Jackson Five, Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles), his son Isaac Peake and Motown artist William Goldstein (Fame, CBS Masterworks), Genie has crafted and produced upbeat and catchy tunes.
