Born and raised in the vibrant streets of Soweto, Tshepo Madibana, better known as GentleSlope, found his rhythm early in life. His musical journey began in high school, where what started as a hobby quickly evolved into a deep passion. Blessed with an exceptional ear for music, GentleSlope developed the rare ability to appreciate and seamlessly navigate between diverse genres.

Unbound by limits, his influences range from the soulful sounds of Rocco, Atjazz, and The Layabouts to the house-driven beats of RalfGum, Cuebur, DaCapo, and Chymamusique. These artists sparked his creative fire, inspiring him to craft a sound that’s uniquely his with a bit of Mzansi flavor
