George 808 is a Johannesburg-based artist renowned for his distinctive style and storytelling through music. As a founding member of the legendary duo Deep Xcape, George has gained extensive experience in sound engineering, establishing himself as a skilled producer and DJ.

He is the driving force behind So Clear Music, a music engineering house that has contributed to several platinum-winning albums.

Now embarking on a solo journey as George 808, his music bridges the old and new, creating timeless soundscapes that resonate deeply with listeners. His career began in 2009 with releases on notable labels such as Do It Now Records, UK-based Inspirit Imprint, and the iconic Café del Mar lounge series. Since then, he has released four albums and numerous EPs through labels like House Afrika, Sony Music Group, Soul Candi, Sophisticado USA, Vibe Boutique, and The Ashmed Hour.
