George Belasco & O Cão Andaluz is a brazilian band formed in the city of Fortaleza in 2006. The band consists of George Belasco (vocals, guitar, synth, drum machine), Lucas Jereissati (bass), and Felipe Couto (guitar, backing vocal, synth). The name of the band is a reference to the 1929 film "Un Chien Andalou" by Luis Buñuel and Salvador Dalí.

The band's music is heavily influenced by 60s and 70s rock and roll and early electronic music, as well as Brazilian music from the same era. Their sound is characterized by raw guitar riffs, catchy melodies, and Belasco's distinctive vocals.

George Belasco & O Cão Andaluz have released several EPs, including "E Quem Mata o Carrasco" in 2006, "Olhos São Moscas Atrás de Nós" in 2007, "Ao Vivo Na Feira da Música" in 2009, and "Hydruz" in 2010. These releases showcase the band's evolving sound and experimentation with different musical styles.

In 2019, the band released their first full-length album, "Os Cães Veem Coisas". The album received critical acclaim for its mix of rock, post-punk, and electronic elements, as well as its introspective and socially conscious lyrics. Some standout tracks from the album include "Numismata", "Casualidad", and "Mondo Negativo", which showcase the band's ability to combine catchy melodies with thought-provoking lyrics.
