George Tandy, Jr. continues to stand the test of time, proving that he is here to stay, with his latest release “Already Love”. Coming off the heels of his debut full length album release entitled, “The Foundation”, George did just that, solidifying a foundation for continued growth and evolution as an artist.
On March 2013, George's introductory single "March" was released independently, and went on to hit #3 on Billboard's Adult R&B Chart, entering regular rotation in top markets across the country, gracing the stage with the likes of John Legend, Marsha Ambrosius, Chrisette Michele, Fantasia, Lauryn Hill and more. Now, George Tandy, Jr. is ready to write the next chapter in his musical excursion.
“Already Love is a reflection, of a playful type of loving connection that I found with a woman a few years ago,” he stated. “It is forthright, light hearted and fresh, just like the episode we briefly enjoyed together.”
“Already Love” is the first release from “Because Life…”, a four-volume musical journey that will be systematically released to ultimately form his second full length album. “Because Life…, is the result of a lot of collective listening and observation. It has some of the introspective, piano-based vibes that people might expect,” exclaims George. “I wanted to make sure that we held on to the soulful feel, while exploring faster tempos and subject matter from different angles.”
