Georgia Funkadelic

Georgia Funkadelic is a 7-piece electric groove band from Evansville, Indiana (USA). The sound is mix of danceable grooves in the rocknroll/jazz/blues/funk family. Imagine if The Staple Singers met up with Janis Joplin to go to a backyard cookout with Booker T. and the MGs.

Check the first album, 'Georgia's Pool Party'! Created due to the free-time allowed from not playing gigs in 2020, this album features a collection of Evansville artists (18). The music is described as 'groove music'. To explain groove music, I'll say any music which makes you dance".

The second album, 'Georgia's After Party' (released 12/31/21) is a four-piece instrumental groove music album. Lot's-o'-grooves! Their last single, "Love Tango" (released 12/31/22) is an upbeat blues groove love song.

Their latest release (4-song EP called 'flamboyance') will be released late Summer 2023.

Currently, Georgia Funkadelic is a 6-piece electric groove band. Electric guitar, bass, drums, keys, & 2 female vocalists(The Funkadellas). You can always expect them to play a high-energy, fun show!
