Gerald Fjord

Gerald Fjord is a modular synth artist from Denver, CO. His debut album, <a href="spotify:album:578IpplAG2uUrTfi4tSXxC" data-name="Good Morning, Midnight">Good Morning, Midnight</a>, was released in September of 2018. It is a release of early eurorack works spanning from ambient to downtempo / hip hop beat oriented music. His second album, released November 2019 was called Signals. Here he further explores marrying samples and modular synths as well as bringing in live instrumentation like saxophone to a more refined exploration of downtempo, hip hop, modbap, trip hop, ambient and electronic music. In October 2020 he released Receiver incorporating further modular synthesis techniques while also exploring other avenues such as bringing in live drummers to perform on three songs. September 2021 saw his release of Fracture. A collection of performances instead of songs recorded during the pandemic on various live streams and live events and refined in the studio taking this listener on extended journeys full of subtle and not so subtle transitions throughout providing the listener with what a Gerald Fjord live set sounds like.
