Hey, it's Gerald. I don't have a manager so I can write this in first person.
I'm a DJ/producer from Indonesia. My career started when me and Ken Raka started this DJ duo called KMKZ. We initially started making drum and bass but then transitioned to bass music. We've had a few global recognitions throughout the years, including features in EDM.com and Dim Mak Records. We also won an EDM TV show back in 2016 called The Remix, and we have toured around Indonesia ever since.
Gerald Gerald is my solo project. I created this as a way to explore new sounds and think outside of genres. As the name suggests, each 'Gerald' is made to represent a duality: one focusing on lighter melodies and grooves, and other on darker, more energetic beats and sounds. Based on the people I have worked with (Ramengvrl, Ananta Vinnie, Night Flight, Weird Genius), my music is and will be diverse, and fully made with passion.
